About Nellu

Nellu was born from my fascination with vintage watches and the stories they carry.

I work exclusively with vintage timepieces, carefully selecting each one before taking it completely apart. Every watch is restored by hand—from servicing the movement and refinishing the case to designing and hand-painting a completely new dial. The goal isn't to erase its history, but to give it a new identity while respecting the craftsmanship that came before it.

Every dial is painted by hand, every watch is assembled individually, and no two pieces are ever exactly alike.

My work sits somewhere between traditional watchmaking and contemporary art.
I approach a watch the same way I approach a sculpture or a canvas—not as something to preserve exactly as it was, but as an object with the potential to become something entirely new.

The inspiration behind each piece comes from art, architecture, cultural objects, vintage design, and everyday moments.

Nellu exists to create watches that feel personal. Timepiece with character, craftsmanship, and a history that doesn't end with their past, it continues on your wrist.

The journey began with my grandfather Nellu, who spent decades repairing watches in his small workshop. His patience, precision, and respect for craftsmanship continue to shape the way I work today.
